The Jefferson Township Democratic Committee is a group of moms and dads, grandparents, aunts and uncles, students and teachers, neighbors, friends and residents working together on behalf of our shared values for common causes.

We meet monthly on the second Thursday of the month, with some exceptions for special days. Join our email list for the updated calendar.

The Democratic Party is committed to keeping our nation safe & expanding opportunity for all. Our agenda: strong economic growth, affordable health care, retirement security, honest & accountable government, & protecting civil rights and liberties. We believe that a strong Democratic Party will create a stronger Jefferson Township. We support excellent candidates and causes. We love where we live and are dedicated to making it an even more vibrant community.

We have an active club of participants, and an active township committee. Our committee is comprised of two representatives per town district, elected every two years in even-number years in primary elections, and we have a chair, vice chair, secretary and treasurer who are elected by the committee post-primary every two years.
